Sittercity.com, the online sitter service that links nannies, babysitters, pet sitters and other caregivers to families, has acquired one of its rivals.
“Sittercity.com, America’s largest and most trusted website for connecting families with local, quality in-home caregivers, today announced the acquisition of the Sitters.com website.
Sitters.com is the third-largest in-home care website and has developed a significant sitter and parent network throughout its almost 10 year history.
This acquisition will expand Sittercity’s current database of close to 2 million users, further solidifying the company’s dominance in the online in-home care industry.”
